the Belfry is the official yearbook of New Hampton School. New Hampton School is a dynamic, innovative learning community cultivating lifelong learners who serve as active global citizens. the Belfry captures every moment of life at New Hampton, and is proud to be a part of the strong community.
Jae Bin have worked with the Belfry at New Hampton School for 3 Years, and he created lots of visuals, including but not limited to book cover designs, layouts, posters, and videos.

the Belfry 2021 - Bicentennial
Cover Design
After graduating from New Hampton School, New Hampton School reached out to Jae Bin to design the special edition of the Belfry, which celebrates the Bicentennial of the institution.
Jae Bin made 5 different versions of the cover designs, as a gift to the school. Jae Bin has been working on the Bicentennial Cover since 2019, and below are the cover designs that were sent to the School.

Cover Design
During his time at New Hampton School, Jae Bin designed all the details of the Belfry 2020. From cover design, material choices, logo design, all the little details included his design skills.
the Belfry 2020 was the most innovative yearbook design that was ever produced in New Hampton School; more voices were heard from students than ever before, and most Seniors and students were happy with the result.

the Belfry Senior Superlatives
Before the COVID-19 Pandemic, Jae Bin wanted to make the Yearbook experience special for everyone. During his final year at New Hampton School, he used his Photography skills to capture all the Senior Superlative’s portraits.
All of these award posters were designed by Jae Bin, and they were printed high quality and shipped to the students. This changed the boring image of the yearbook to a premium and fun yearbook, exclusively at New Hampton School.

Logo Design
In order to change the image of the Belfry being boring and not interesting, Jae Bin created a new logo that transformed the Belfry’s image into a classic and glamorous styled yearbook.

Establishing Branding and Design Guidelines
During his time at New Hampton School, Jae Bin realised that the Belfry does not have any Branding and Design Guidelines, and in order for the Belfry to operate as smooth as it was before after he leaves, he created a Branding and Design Guideline for the future Belfry Team members.
